Luke in 40 - Luke 12 cont.

Luke 12:35-59

In our reading for today, Jesus starts with a couple of parable about being prepared. He also talks about how we do not know to interpret the end of times.

I think this section for today is quite important, especially when so many people believe they have the direct line to God in knowing when Jesus will return or the world will end. Jesus is quite clear here, we do not know, we will not know, and so we need to be prepared always. This means caring for those in need, strengthening relationships, and lifting up those who are pushed down.

Our God is a God who is cared about relationships, and he wants us to be active in building the healthiest relationships we can, whenever we can.
