Luke 17:1-19
In today's reading we hear Jesus issue a warning about causing others to sin, calling us to forgive when others repent, and Jesus healing some outsiders who have leprosy. They are lessons about discipleship and a demonstration that Jesus continues to go to the outsiders and grant them a loving touch that society is withholding form them.
Today I invite you to take some time and think about one person you need to forgive. This is not an easy thing to do, especially when you can still feel the pain of what that person has done. But, as hear today, we are called to forgive not necessarily for the person who wronged us, but so that we can move on with our lives.
