Luke 20:27-47
The questions continue, and this time it is about the afterlife. The Sadducees, who did not believe in a resurrection, ask him about the afterlife with the assumption that it will be like it is here on earth. Jesus responds by saying that the new life we are given will be different, and that God is the God not of the dead, but of the living, and for him, all are alive.
